Bartlett, Tenn., December 18, 2018 – USA Cheer today announced that their 2019 College STUNT National Championship will take place at the University of Oklahoma May 3-5, 2019.
Women’s STUNT, the new varsity sport derived from cheerleading launched by USA Cheer, is approaching its ninth season at the college level and sixth for high school. College participation has continued to grow over the past 8 seasons, and more than 200+ high schools from nine states are participating, making STUNT the fastest growing female sport in the country.
More than 40 colleges and universities will participate in College STUNT this season, and the Championship will see the Final Four in each division compete for the title of STUNT National Champion. Over the past four years, the state of Oklahoma has had four teams make it to the Championship, and STUNT is expecting a record attendance turnout for the event. Last year’s Open Division I National Champions were the Cowgirls from Oklahoma State University; the Open Division II and Varsity Division National Champions were the Davenport University Panthers.

The Championship weekend will begin Friday, May 3rd, with the top two teams in the Varsity STUNT Championship game. The Open Championship on May 4th and 5th will feature the top 4 teams from Division I and II.
