The American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators (AACCA) was founded in 1987 to provide safety education and resources for cheerleading coaches, including safety rules for high school and college cheerleading.
The AACCA merged with USA Cheer in 2018, bringing safety under the umbrella of the national governing organization. Over the next year, school rules and education will contain the “USA Cheer” and “AACCA” branding, which will then be promoted as just “USA Cheer”. Information on safety training and rules for school teams can be found below. For information regarding rules and education for All Star cheerleading, visit our partner, USASF.
