Athletes from the Dollhouse Dance Factory and Sheboygan, Wisconsin area will comprise the US National Junior Team Hip Hop Team for 2020.

Sacramento, Calif., January 9, 2020 – USA Cheer has announced the coaching staff and region that will represent the United States in the Junior Team Hip Hop division at the 2020 International Cheer Union (ICU) World Cheerleading Championships, which takes place April 27 – 29, 2019 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World® Resorts.

Athletes from the Dollhouse Dance Factory, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, have been chosen to represent the United States in the Junior Team Hip Hop division. Head coach Kayla Pittner began her professional career by dancing with the Milwaukee Bucks, and opened the Dollhouse Dance Factory soon after, in 2013. Pittner will be assisted by Betsy Klauck. One of their junior hip hop teams competed on the NBC show, “World of Dance, Season 2” as Dollhouse Dance Factory, and their teams have been nominated for the Industry Dance Awards’ Best Hip Hop Performance of the Year in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Pittner and Klauck’s  USASF teams have won three World Championships, three Summit titles and more than 65 national titles.

“Entering our fourth year in the Junior Hip Hop Division, the bar has been set so high by our previous teams, but I know Kayla and Dollhouse have what it takes to continue that legacy,” says Stacy Shelton, Director of Dance for USA Cheer. “The dynamics of their choreography will bring an entertaining and fresh style to the competition. Although new to the ICU stage, these athletes are well-rounded and highly experienced, both professionally and competitively. They know what it takes, and I am beyond excited to work with the athletes and coaches. I am extremely confident in what we will be able to accomplish.”

“To be selected to coach the 2020 US Jr National Hip Hop Team is an absolute honor, and I cannot get wait to get started,” says Pittner. “I have been fortunate enough to coach some incredible teams in my time, but I am absolutely humbled by this opportunity.”

The US National Junior Team Hip Hop team will be comprised of athletes from the area surrounding the Dollhouse Dance Factory, which may include the following schools and club programs as well as others:

Sheboygan North High School

Kohler High School

Kohler Middle School

Urban Middle School

Farnsworth Middle School

Lake Country Academy
