Athlete Safety & Membership Integrity
At USA Cheer, the safety and well-being of athletes is our top priority. That’s why we strongly encourage all parents, athletes, and organizations to verify that coaches, choreographers, and other professionals that engage with athletes are current USA Cheer members in good standing. Our featured members list showcases individuals who are actively part of our community and meet the standards of eligibility, background screening, and required training. Additionally, USA Cheer members have agreed to follow the Minor Athlete Abuse Protection Policies and the USA Cheer Code of Conduct and are subject to investigation of violations.
If an individual does not have a USA Cheer Membership, this could be for various reasons, including but not limited to: they may not have applied for membership, may not yet have renewed their membership, or they may not be eligible for membership. USA Cheer strongly encourages organizations to require individuals to obtain membership in order to work with cheer and STUNT athletes and conduct other due diligence.

LIST OF INDIVIDUALS RESTRICTED, SUSPENDED, OR INELIGIBLE FOR MEMBERSHIP IN USA CHEER
The following is a list of individuals who USA Cheer has determined are suspended or ineligible for membership in USA Cheer based on violation of USA Cheer’s rules, as well as individuals who are temporarily suspended or subject to temporary measures in connection with their USA Cheer membership pending the resolution of allegations of misconduct.
This list does not include the names of individuals deemed restricted, ineligible, or suspended by other organizations or other individuals who may not qualify for USA Cheer membership, such as by failure to pass a background check or failure to take required training. USASF RESTRICTED & INELIGIBLE LIST
Individuals on USASF’s Restricted & Ineligible List are also ineligible for USA Cheer membership, or, if an individual’s USASF membership is restricted, the individual’s membership in USA Cheer shall likewise be restricted. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Persons ineligible for membership in other sports bodies for issues related to athlete protection, and individuals deemed ineligible or suspended by the U.S. Center for SafeSport, are also ineligible for membership in USA Cheer. USA Cheer reserves the right to impose additional restrictions on, or to otherwise declare an individual ineligible for, membership in USA Cheer based on its own rules, policies, and procedures even if an individual is otherwise eligible for membership in USASF or another organization.
